Unlike most Milongas which are fast and joyful sounding, this famour track is slow and brimming with sadness.Many people don't know, is that like in the case of most tangoes, Milongas often expose the tragedies of the downtrodden, the misunderstood, the betrayed, and in this case deep regret. The simplicity and repetitiveness of the harmonic progression, only adds to its simple and brutal beauty.
